Doll House Statement

Ethan Berger

Our project is an aftermath of a house party. To do this, we had a wooden box that we disassembled to make the project open so the viewers can see inside it. We then proceeded to paint the walls blue and painted the floor brown to show the wooden floors. Ethan, Ally, and I then made most of the furniture out of sculpy. We unfortunately found out that it had a problem with drying. Making the solo cups individually we painted each read and a white brim around it to demonstrate how real they are. Each couch that was made has wood in it to support the sculpture. Coming up with the idea of drawing a room on one of the walls to make it look more dimensional, we decided to put that in. Ethan came up with the idea of the beer pong table being a little distorted because we wanted the viewer to see the 3D project in a way as if they were wearing drunk glasses. Therefore, we made the walls a little higher than need be, and the doorway much higher than its supposed to be. We wanted a little more out of our project so we put plants at the top to add one more touch. In the end we bought little lights to stick all over our house to show that when you turn the lights off, the remaining small lights are on leaving the viewer with that as a concluding look on our project. Making it officially the aftermath of our house party.

Update

As a group project, Nicolee and Ally and I are building a 3D diagram of a broken up party. We are using perspective to show the ideas we have learned so far in this chapter.
